What's wrong with this email?
1. This email came from a compromised account outside of NECC. It's a rarity that any account outside of an NECC account would be informing you of your NECC network account, this should be your first sign that something is amiss.2. Users within NECC do not have an OUTLOOK WEB Network User Account.
3. NECC ITS helpdesk is referred to as the ITS Service Desk, not the OUTLOOK WEB Help Desk.
4. The only extension for the ITS Service Desk is x3111, this email indicates it's x7892.
5. If you hover (place your mouse pointer, but don't click) over the "OUTLOOK WEB Intranet page. " text, you'll see that the link they want you to click on will be taking you to https://owa2.godaddysites.com/. You will see there is no ".necc.mass.edu" in the URL, no mention of even NECC. This is a clear indication of a phishing attempt to gain your credentials.
