What is ITS?

NECC ITS Audio/Visual Department
NECC's Audio/Visual Department in ITS is responsible for the setup, maintenance and operation of all audio & visual IT equipment throughout the college. This includes, but not limited to: teleconferencing, classroom projectors, video conferencing & 'smart' classrooms and conference rooms.

NECC ITS Client Services
The Client Services Department of NECC's ITS is the "front line" for ITS, responsible for assisting faculty, staff and students with issues to all NECC IT services, applications and computer equipment (pc's, laptops, Mac's, mobile devices, tablets, etc).

NECC ITS MIS
The Management Information Systems (MIS) department of NECC is responsible for managing many of the ITS applications at the college. Along with managing numerous applications, MIS also manages databases & servers as well as handling custom application and report development.

NECC ITS ITNOC
The Network Operations Center (ITNOC) of NECC ITS is an essential department of NECC. While a large part of their responibilies involves ensuring everything IT related is running smoothly aka "keeping the lights on" (data, internet, WiFi, telephones, etc.), ITNOC is also responsible myriad of other duties. A few other examples of what ITNOC maintains are: email, user accounts, backups, server administration and data center maintenance.
